OUR MISSION

By providing support to people who need it, and leveraging our collective life experiences, we ultimately aim to create positive change by connecting the realities of the legal system with elected officials who have the ability to propose and adjust legislation in a way that better protects victims of domestic violence and other crimes.

What We Do

Why this matters

Almost every person who survives domestic abuse is also a victim of financial abuse, meaning their abuser prevents them from using, accessing or maintaining financial resources. But leaving costs money. For Your Record knows this.

While domestic abuse is too prevalent in every community, its frequency has quietly increased during the pandemic, creating an even greater need for support.

Statistics illustrate small slices of a very complex issue. But, the domestic abuse power wheel brings more of the picture into focus.
